Creating New Caves

Go to the Update Homepage. Under Start new updates'' and to the right of the link \url{Checkout Caves} link will be the link \texttt{NEW}. Click on this \texttt{NEW} link. A screen entitledCreate New Cave: Data Entry and Import’‘ will appear. There are two buttons; [Create] and [Import]. The Import button will be covered later, for now we will just create a new cave.

Enter the principal name if the cave has one.
Select the name of the cave area. This will be a drop down list box of the areas in which you can create caves.
Click the [Create] button to create the new cave.

The next page that appears will show detailed information on the new cave. It will also have two buttons: [Edit] and [Create Another]. First let’s look at the information about this new cave. Scrolling down the page you will see that most of the data about the cave will be unknown.
